| Description: | Binding of his6-tagged BRD4_BD1 bromodomain or his6-tagged BRD4_BD2 to a biotinylated bromodomain ligand (Compound C) was monitored by time resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET). Competitive binding of small molecules that bind to the bromodomain was detected by the displacement the biotinylated tracer and consequent decrease in the measured emission intensity at 665 nm or the emission ratio (emission at 665 nm/emission at 615). |
