| Description: | The screening of compounds for MPO inhibition activity was conducted in three stages. The inhibitory activity of each compound against MPO was assessed by measuring the IC50 values, which represent the concentration of the compound required to inhibit 50% of the MPO activity. Following the successful identification of compounds with potent myeloperoxidase (MPO) inhibition activity from the second and third rounds of screening, these compounds were further tested for their ability to inhibit thyroid peroxidase (TPO). |
