| Description: | Accordingly, the present disclosure is directed to the use of these compounds in the preparation and execution of screening assays for compounds which modulate the function of the TAK1 (and/or an IRAK, such as IRAK4). For example, the compounds of this disclosure can be useful for isolating receptor mutants, which are established screening tools for potent compounds. Furthermore, the compounds of this disclosure can be useful in establishing or determining of protein binding sites, geometry of potential binding pockets, as well as the binding site of other compounds to TAK1, e.g., by competitive inhibition. The compounds of the instant disclosure can also be useful for the evaluation of putative specific modulators of TAK1. |
