| | Activation of T1R1/T1R3 Receptor by Nucleotide Derivatives |
| Description: | HEK293 cells that stably express T1R3 and inducibly express T1R1 were exposed to nucleotide derivatives alone to activate the umami receptor. Activation of the T1R1/T1R3 receptor was detected by a change in intracellular calcium levels using a calcium sensitive fluorescent dye. Cells that express T1R3 but not T1R1 were used as a control. A FLIPR Tetra or a FlexStation 3 was used for data capture. |
